My Great Nana Personality 

Every time I saw my nana, she always had a smile on her face. Her smile got even bigger when her family,friends and siblings were visiting her. When she was moved into an old person's place, her smile drifted away because she was so lonely. But when my nana and I visited her her smile came back. She especially loved my cuddles because she really liked me. Before my Great Nana was moved out of her very old home she always was happy and excited. She always kept her house clean for when people would come and visit her. She took pride in her house. Music was my Great Nana's passion and so it filled her home. Whenever family,friends and siblings were there she always played the accordion and other musical instruments. 

 My Great Nana Personality

When she was moved into an old person's place, her smile drifted away because she was so lonely. But when my nana and I visited her her smile came back. She especially loved my cuddles, because she really liked me. My Great Nana was always a kind hearted and happy lady, but when her husband died she was always very lonely and sad. Before my Great Nana was moved out of her very old home she always was happy and excited. She always kept her house clean for when people would come and visit her. She took pride in her house. Music was my Great Nana's passion and so it filled her home. Whenever family, friends and siblings were there she always played the accordion and other musical instruments. My Great Nana alway gave me tips for some chores that I had to do when I stayed at her house and after I did them she gave me some lollies or some money to spend on toys and stuff like that.

My Great Nana 

 Her hair had white curls like the colour of the glittering snow falling from the skies. Her hair always looked fresh, like a new t-shirt that just got a great wash. The curls on her head were just the same as the curls of her pet cat, Savvy. When she saw me her blue eyes jump with joy and happiness. The bright blue clear sky and the white fluffy clouds are exactly what her eyes looked like. When she read she put her glasses on her face to help her see the small words. Every time I looked at her wrinkles it was like there were lots of roads all over her body. Her walking stick was like a branch that had been taken from a tree. A smile always covered her face when she got to see her family. She wore bright greens, blues, purples and yellows like she had just come back from a tropical-island holiday. Her tops were short in summer and long in winter.

The bright blue clear sky and the white fluffy clouds are exactly what her eyes looked like. She would put her glasses on her chubby face to help her see the small words when she read. Every time I looked at her wrinkles it was like there were lots of roads all over her body. Her walking stick was like a branch that had fallen from the oldest tree that had ever lived. A smile always covered her face when she got to see her family and friends. Her skin had changed from pale white to pachy red and black spots all over her body. She wore bright joyful colours like she had just come back from a tropical-island holiday where the sun shone. Her tops were short in the bursting hot summer sun and long in the freezing cold winter.

I can relate to this… other remote control

I’m surprised that they make huge remote control airplanes that big

I would like to have one of these planes to fly but maybe I will try a little one first

The newly discovered dinosaur

I found it interesting, because…. they've discovered a new species of dinosaurs

It makes me think of  all the other dinosaurs that the team of paleontologists have found

I’d like to know   where they found the Dreadnoughtus

I Feel I feel hurt when I get stomped on by herds of kids running all over me. I get smooshed when the kids go on me non stop. I felt muddy and cold when I waited for the kids to come. Sharp stones landing all over me and cutting me.

I See I can see herds of kids running on top of me and my friends. It was as if they didn’t even care if they stood on us. I can see happiness on kids faces when they finish. And also sad miserable faces because they didn’t get the place that they wanted. I see the leaves falling off the tree and getting smooshed into me. I Hear I can hear people shouting out to their children saying go faster,try and get around him or her.

I can hear the whistling winds blowing past the kids when they run past because they are running against the wind. I can hear encouragement coming from the parents and grandparents that are watching their kids.

I Smell I can smell sweat from the kids as it lands on me. The dirt rising through the air as kids trample all over me. The flowers flying up into the air as kids pass by and little parts of the flowers falling all over me and my friends.

A canteen at school

A canteen at school Do you what people at school to be happy? Well then you MUST put in a canteen at school. I strongly believe that you MUST put in a canteen at DAVID STREET SCHOOL!!!

My first reason is that it will give the school more money to buy more equipment like hockey sticks, rugby balls, and PE gear. It will also allow us to buy more things for the playground and more play gear for morning tea and lunch.

My second reason is kids don’t have to make their own lunches. It gives kids more time to do what they need to do in the morning instead of making their lunch. It takes kids too long to all their chores in the morning. Mornings are so stressful.

My third reason is kids can chose their own lunch so they eat all their food and come back home with their lunch box full of food now that would be wasteful wouldn't it. So they don’t come home and say I don’t like this mum.

My opinion about elephant seals need hugs too is that it is not usual for an elephant seal to give people a hug. I wish I understood why the baby elephant seal gave that lady a hug.
